It was so cold yesterday.
Looks like my furs and coats have to come out of storage soon.
However, the days are still a bit hard to dress for, in the sun it's actually quite warm. Probably why I am now sick with a cold.
My welcome to the fall outfit this year is still somewhat summery.

This is us getting ready to get to the shoot. But a great chance to show you guys the back of the outfit. I essentially tied a square silk Obakki scarf by each of the corners and made a top. It goes perfectly with the skirt since it accentuates the high waist tie detail of the skirt.
These are the accesories I picked with the outfit. A blue is perfect to break up an entire outfit made with harvest muted colours. Blue also works well to contrast anything orange or pink or purple.

We were going to go outside for the shoot, but my building lobby caught my attention. The fireplace, paintings, furniture all screams a day crisp day spent inside with some coco, a blanket and a good book.
When I first put on this skirt, I was not only impressed with how well it fit me, but with how fun it would be to spin in this.

Look how well it spreads on a chair?

The blue of the purse seems almost out of place, yet it gives the eye something different to focus on. I love the drama it creates.
Seems newer condos all lack a fireplace now. Well, I'm glad I don't have one as it will make arranging furniture much more difficult. But that doesn't mean this one in the lobby doesn't make me want to sit next to it.

Skirt and shoes are thrifted from Talize, LV purse from eBay and scarf top from Obakki. To make this outdoor friendly, throw over a nice wool coat, or a fur stole.
Work will be getting slightly more unpredictable, of course I will still be posting as much as I can.
Much love, enjoy your hump day.
