The event is held to raise money and awareness to the
Beauty Night Society.
A great charity organization aiming to build self esteem and change the lives of participants through wellness, life skills development and makeovers. The Beauty Nights take place at shelters, health care facilities, drop in centres, and transition homes. In 2012, they served 200 impoverished women each week. Since 2000, they have given 26,000 makeovers.
It is such a beautiful cause. We all know how amazing we can feel when we get a new hairdo or makeup professionally applied or pampers ourselves in anyway. Great to see that there is an organization out there that reaches out to the less fortunate and remind them how good it can feel to look the best you can.

Her gowns make me want to get married right now, and then renew my vows every year so I can wear a new one.
This last one has got to be my favourite.
Of course I couldn't miss a photo opportunity with the designer herself.
The night is hosted by Fashion TV's: Mandy Ross, looking smashing in her designer gown.
