Skull Shirt and Sheer Maxi Skirt: A photo diary

I have been blogging for almost 2 years now.

Finally I have decided to pull the trigger and buy my very own camera.

The Canon Rebel t5i was the chosen weapon. I mainly wanted it for video purposes since this camera has great autofocusing features. The line of lenses made for this camera is also silent when it comes to focusing the shot.

The image quality is also superb! Arm with this amazing tool, I am ready to capture surrounding beauties at a moment's notice. Or just pump out massive numbers of selfies.

My first photo shoot was impromptu and just in the backyard of my boyfriend's parent's place.

His mom is a bona fide green thumb and these beautiful hydrangeas.

Then I found this.

The lighting was perfect, can't resist, must shoot outfit.

The skirt can also be let down and let it flow as a maxi.

Mine and Yours Fashion Talks Blogger Event

Yesterday I co-hosted an intimate blogger gathering with Mine & Yours Co. A local buy, sell and trade fashion house that will open very soon. The inventory is curated from the closets of Vancouver's most fashionable. Many of the bloggers that are attending this event has sold their items to Mine & Yours. I love this concept and elevating eco fashion to the next level. All these items will be fashionable, and one of a kind gems are congregated to the same place.

The founder and I met in the ladies room at Eco Fashion Week 06 after my Thrift Chic Show.

Some connections are made effortlessly and meant to last.

Both of us love making connections and we decided to provide a good avenue for bloggers to connect and bond and net work.

Black and White and Floral Skirt

Thanks for coming back peeps. I hope you enjoyed my last post on How to Wear Floral

This post is actually quite related to those styling tips.

I just recently got this cute floral skirt from Sheinside. They are also having a sale as well :)

I worn it first with a beige top. With florals, you usually want it to be the star. However, sometimes, you have to push the style envelope and don't be afraid to pair it with something else that is very distinct.

This outfit, I decided to pair a floral skirt with a white dress shirt accented by black lace detail.

The blazer and the shirt are both very structured looks that are more serious. The skirt makes the whole look more fun. I live for the juxtaposition.

Don't be afraid to mix some unexpected pieces together.

Shop similar pieces right here.

Until next time.
