Vancouver isn't always known as a fashion mecca. Hopefully effort will soon change that.
But on a night like this I feel truly blessed to be apart of this beautiful city to celebrate a talented local talent.
Evan Ducharme showcased his newest made to measure collection of versatile pieces that included separates, outerwear and evening wear. The coolest part, all these pieces are unisex.
I personally am a huge fan of made to measure items. What could be better than something made just for you?

I would totally wear the tulle ball gown.

Yoko Ono sunglasses that is, which is what I kind of "lived in" during my London trip. I wonder if she and John also trotted around the city of London and she too were mesmerized by what I was.
Today's offering will include colors and landscape.
Really it's just me standing in front of a variety of doors, I mean things.
These random colorful buildings should be mandated into every city's building code. I saw so many in London and wish I could have brought them with me.
Vest: Long chiffon floral vest
Dress: White Shalom Dress

The London trip came and gone in a flash. It seemed like both the longest week and the shortest week all at the same time. Over the next little while I will be recounting the steps taken in London.
Let's start with one of my favourite outfits, featuring a pair of amazing Indigo Paper Jeans.
Before I left for London, I was fortunate enough to meet with the designer of IndigoPaper Jeans. This pair of peach skinnies ended up accompanying me to London.
I don't usually wear denim. But after trying these on, I was extremely impressed by the softness of the material, the beautiful pastel color and the way it hugs my shape.
IndigoPaper Jeans is a family brand, producing all kinds of jeans from skinny to boyfriend, from light to dark wash. Their well crafted collection of fashion forward/modern styles aims to provide comfort, style and fit, to satisfy any type of lifestyle. Day or night, work or play, feeling comfortable and looking trendy is their main priority.
A day running around in London is the perfect setting to try these out.
I chose to pair peach with peach for a perfect monochromatic look. Great for a summer's day.
These jeans are so comfortable and soft, I may NEVER want to take them off.
