Happy Monday!
I love these Vintage Clip-on Earrings.
So very Chanle-esque. They are actually quite common at your local thrift shops, give it a try, I'm sure you can find a fantastic pair.
Ever since I got my ears pierced, I stopped considering clip-on earrings altogether. It's as if I have graduated to wearing "real" jewelry with a post and a backing.
My recent thrift shopping trip re-opened my eyes to the possibility of a pair of amazing clip-ons.
It's not only the perfect solution if you don't have pierced ears, it's also great for people with sensitive ears.
The real fun though came when I realized that I can actually style these earrings in multiple different ways. The clip makes it extremely easy to attach it to things other than your ears.
In the hair for instance.
If you a in the pinch for a hair clip, this is perfect. I actually quite like the way it looks in the hair.
The earrings also look amazing as button covers.
The perfect touch to add a touch of glitz to any outfit.
Finally, you can also wear these as collar tips.
I'm sure you can think of ever more ways to put these little beauties. Share your favourite way in comments :)

Thrift Shopping Haul
I have not been thrifting ever since I did the amazing Thrift Chic Challenge for Eco Fashion Week 06.
Since I had to style 15 outfits with $500 from Value Village, safe to say I have had enough thrifting to last me awhile.
But I miss it dearly!
Yesterday, I was finally reunited with the thrill of the hunt.
Here are the amazing goodies I found. It doesn't hurt when you are in the company of good company either. The fringe benefit to working with a photographer who also loves to thrift.
We went to the Crossroads Hospice Society Thrift Store first.
The prices there are amazing! Requires a little more digging and a knee eye, but that is certainly the fun of it all.
Sequin is all the rage these days, crossing over from night to day, showing up in all forms and configurations. When one takes the shape of a golden butterfly in pristine condition for under $10.00 I am bound by duty to not say no.
The next treasures are quite a surprise to me.
They are button covers!
Which we do not see anymore nowadays. And I must ask why? Why not have something that can be snapped on and off a shirt and instantly make it amazing? I am glad I took possession of these beauties for $3.00 a set! A SET!
We journeyed onwards to three different Value Villages in Coquitlam.
They really don't make things like it used to be anymore. Thank goodness for thrift stores for my quality costume jewelry fix. Now if only I can find a Chanel pin...
I also bought some nick knacks I don't usually gravitate to.
But lately, I have been wanting to stimulate my brain and hand through the good ol' ways.
My most prized treasure from this hunting trip would have to be these amazing Salvatore Ferragamo loafers.
Aren't they amazing! In near mint condition.
Please do try thrifting if you haven't already, I will be writing a guide for everyone in the near future as well.
July 1st is also the 50% sale for all the US locations! Happy hunting weekend.

Show and Tell
Happy hump day! I have a little show and tell to do today.
The story begins in my second year of University. I signed up for a credit card. This one is a special student card that allowed me to earn Airmiles. Though I really don't know what else is special about it to make it a student card.
I am now finally sick of collecting Airmiles and my being able to redeem it for a decent trip even after this many years!! So I cashed them all out for this baby.

When I redeemed it I was a little unsure about it, but now that I have her on my wrist, I'm in love!!
This Micharl Kors Chronograph Tortoise watch fits right in with the rest of my arm party.

And I thought my arm was full after Portland!!!
I hope this doesn't kick start my watch obsession.
I love the colours and patterns on this watch. So fall-icious! Just intone to anchor all my Harvest colour clothing pieces.
Look how well she gets along with my RGGH Balenciaga city already.

A black and a white watch would round off my collection nicely I think.

Goodies From Taxless County
Alright, time to share my spoils with you guys!
If you follow my instagram, username Poserseries, then you would have seen some of them already.
But here we go!
Honestly, I actually didn't buy all that much this trip. Since this is a trip just to shop. But sometimes it's all about quality.
What should I share first...
I will start with the clothes. Which, was a disappointing haul.

I only went to Forever21 and BCBG for clothes this trip. That whole "pile" was from forever21. Nothing too exciting, more or less just basics really.
The second day of shopping I met up with my friend, the one that was in my last post and we went at it.
Our first stop was Ross and I ended up with these booties.

Then went back to forever21 because she hasn't been yet, even Nordstrom rack, not nothing.
Until we reached MACY's!! They were having a huge sale and everything was 75% off!!
Delighted we grabbed arm full of shoes and proceeded to try them on.
I came home with these.

I love it when they are standing tall atop their temporary homes.
Now let's take a closer look.

Come to think of it, I really don't have any fancy flat sandals. But now I have three pairs! From left to right, they are Marc Fisher, Vince Camuto and BCBGeneration, which I am proudly rocking today.

Next up, heels!

Aren't they gorgeous!! Jessica Simpson, Mia and then Jessica Simpson again. I must say, those Jessica Simpsons are very comfortable because the balance is perfect and they are well cushioned as well. Those MIAs though... I would keep to sitting and standing only.
My favourite is the leopard pair. Rawr!

I love the red heel! Yes, the red sole is what most girls covet. But until I can afford that, I will drool over these heels instead.
Last but not least, I also bought some bling.

It annoys me that price discrepancies still exist even though the CND and USD are pretty much par. Since Portland also has no sales tax, I was not able to resist.

I love these new additions to my existing arm party. I now have six bracelets that act as armor and weaponry, oh yes, and decoration.

I had a great time in Portland, perhaps I will explore the next time I go there again... or... nah, I will just stick with eating and shopping.
