Summer's Coming

With the heat wave Vancouver's been having lately, it seems that summer has already graced us with her presence.

With day light stretching long after I am off from work, there is much more time left for frolic.

Ever since I was little I have always loved swings. The perpetual ups and downs is ever so representative to life. The thrill that's felt at the top and a reminder that everything is cyclical.

Magical even, especially on a day like this, with light that makes everything seem almost translucent.

Even better, with loved ones.

Trench Warfare

It's that time of the year where summer is just around the corner. The tease of the long days with everlasting sun. Yet it still can get chilly in the morning and evenings.

The solution for me is the prefect trench coats.

I have been searching for the perfect one for quite sometime now.

How lucky that I've found 2?

This camel beauty is a thrifted piece from Salvation Army.

This Only one with a more modern twist is from a recent rare mall trip I took.

I know the ease of use and versatility of these pieces.

I am always at a loss when it comes to choosing the property outer wear for transitional seasons.

Trench coats are so perfect and I am so happy to see more of them in the streets.

Camel outfit: Vintage thrift trench coat from Salvation Army
Vintage blue body suit thrifted from Talize
Vintage Chanel purse form Ebay

Black outfit: Only trench coat from Plenty
Vintage pirate shirt from Community Thrift and Vintage
Pants from Dynamite
Vintage Louis Vuitton brief case from Salvation Army

Which trench would you take?

Eco Fashion:: Conscious Roses

I found this rose bush on the side of a street I drove by frequently.

Call it kissmet, I just so happened to have a shirt that matched it perfectly.

What's even more serendipitous, the shirt is from a previous H&M Conscious collection that I found at a thrift store.

Tonight, H&M is kicking off Eco Fashion Week edition 9 with another conscious collection.

I can't wait to see what the new collection has to offer.

I am sure it will be just as rosy.

Check out the fabulous show schedule for Eco Fashion Week Edition 9
